EUMEPLAT final event

The final event of the EUMEPLAT project will be organised by UNIMED in Brussels on 26 and 27 February 2024.

The first day will be devoted to the partner meeting.

The second day will be dedicated to the evidence-based recommendations to European and national policymakers and market stakeholders, which have been drawn in force of the results of several research tasks. In particular, we will focus on the following critical areas: Media regulation; Support to Public Service Media; Theatrical and video-on-demand movies distribution; Misinformation; with a section also concentrated on the valorization of the best practices that we have collected in the various fields of social media communication, alterative media, citizen journalism, and media representation of disadvantaged groups.

The EUMEPLAT Project will provide a valuable opportunity to engage with pertinent issues in the field, offering insights that align with the priorities of KT4D research such as considering Social Risks like the impact of AI and Big Data on media discourses.
