The European Convergence Summit (ECS) 2025, organized by ADRA (AI, Data, and Robotics Association), focuses on how AI, big data, and robotics can enhance Europe’s resilience in times of crisis. 

The European Convergence Summit (ECS) 2025 explores how AI, big data, and robotics can enhance crisis resilience, while KT4D ensures these technologies align with democratic values, transparency, and citizen participation. As AI-driven decision-making shapes Europe’s future, it must remain accountable and inclusive, not just efficient. KT4D’s work on AI governance, regulatory tools, and civic engagement complements ECS discussions, ensuring that technological resilience also strengthens democratic oversight and public trust. 

The event will take place on will take place on April 9, 2025, in Brussels at the Concert Noble. This ADRA-e CSA-funded event brings together ADR partners to explore how the synergy between AI, robotics, and big data can help tackle key socio-economic challenges impacting Europe, its citizens, and its economy.

Following the success of ECS 2024, which focused on reducing CO₂ emissions and advancing the EU’s 2050 climate targets, the 2025 edition will center on resilience in times of crisis—examining how technological innovation can enhance Europe’s preparedness and response to disruptions.

About ECS 2025

ECS is a one-day in-person summit designed to foster dialogue and collaboration on European public policy and technological advancements. The event gathers experts from industry, research, civil society, and governance to develop a consensus on AI, robotics, and big data research priorities for Europe.

Bringing together a diverse range of stakeholders—including policymakers, legal and ethical experts, regulators, and innovation leaders—ECS 2025 aims to define strategic research directions and establish shared goals for responsible and impactful technological development. The conclusions drawn from the summit will guide the ADR partnership’s future initiatives in shaping Europe’s digital transformation and crisis resilience strategies.
